Daniel 12:4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

For this article, I want to look at a couple of scripture references and get you thinking about the rapture from a different light.

1. 1Corinthians 15:52  “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” if this statement is true. Why do we Christians reference the first sound of a trumpet in Revelation as the rapture? (Revelation 4:1-3)

2. Jesus declared in Matthew 24:15, “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand).  Jesus himself tells us that we will see the abomination establish himself as God in the temple. This is the prophecy given to Daniel, and for us to know that this prophecy happens halfway through the period of the last seven years. If we are not here, how will we see this?

3. Men of Galilee; Acts 1: 9-11” Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

4. Events that happen during the sounding of the seventh trumpet, the last trumpet!  Revelation 14: 14-19 “Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.” So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. Does this not sound just like the promise given to the Men of Galilee?  

We know that as Christians, we do not suffer the wrath of God. Jesus covered that for us. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 “ For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,” But that does not mean that our faith will not be tested through trial and tribulation. 1Peter 1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Notice that this harvest is the last event to happen just before the bowls of God’s wrath. (Revelation chapter 15) I said at the beginning of this article that you may not agree with me on the issue of rapture doctrine and that is ok. Rapture doctrine has no bearing on the fact that we are saved that issue was covered by the cross and our acceptance of Jesus as our savior. It’s really only about how you prepare yourself for your time of testing.  God Bless Keith 

In Matthew 24:6-7, we read, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” 

Allow me to explain. The word in the original Greek language for nation is ethnos (Strongs reference 1484); it is where we get our word ethnic from in English. So when you read the verse in Matthew, Jesus is literally telling you that ethnic struggle will be a sign of the beginning of His return. The summer of 2020 kicked off an unprecedented time of what was considered “woke” culture. BLM, Inc. protests took place across the globe, and critical race theory became the hot button subject that erupted in school board meetings across America. Other examples would be the Muslim and Arab tension, Israelis and Palestinians, India and Pakistan, and North and South Koreans. These are just a few examples of ethnic tensions around the world today. The current diversity culture has gone to the point that even your personal credit score will be rated by what is called your E.S.G score. Companies are now restructuring the way they do business, according to E.S.G. The term E.S.G stands for environmental, social, and governance score. In a nutshell, companies are scored on how green they are, how ethnically diverse their workforce is and how equitable the company is. Companies are now hiring more on the color of skin or gender instead of the most qualified person for the job because they do not want their E.S.G. score to go down. So we see these things are happening just as Jesus foretold.

Now let’s look at the second part of the verse ‘Kingdom against Kingdom”. That is literally what it means, global power against global power—keeping the scripture text in line to look at what is happening. Russia has attacked Ukraine. Finland and Sweden are rushing to join NATO for fear of being attacked by Russia. China, India, and Saudia Arabia ultimately sided with Russia forming a new axis of power against the west. Ultimately we need to look at the middle east. Turkey (the land of Magog in the Bible) is partners with Russia. The current American administration is playing both sides of the fence regarding Iran’s nuclear ambitions and supporting what is supposed to be our biggest ally in the middle east, which is Israel. China is now partnering with Afghanistan at the fully loaded military base we left behind. We can’t forget China’s new deal with The Saint Johns Island’s just northeast of Australia. The world is becoming a powder keg of global powers positioning themselves for control. I would highly recommend reading the book of Ezekiel in the Bible; that book is coming alive right now. Could we be witnessing the precursor to this judgment found in the book of Revelation? I believe that we are because this is just another of many Bible prophecies happening right before us. It doesn’t take much to find information on the Euphrates river; a simple Google search or YouTube search brings up plenty of articles and videos on what is happening to the river. What I found incredibly interesting is that Christians are not the only ones looking for this sign. According to Muslim tradition, they are also looking at the drying up of the Euphrates as a sign as well.

Let me share this quote from the Muslim Imam Suyuti: “The Euphrates river has uncovered a previously unknown ancient palace. It also uncovered a previously unknown or lost dynasty. Due to many factors, including drought and the Ataturk dam, both the Euphrates and Tigris rivers are diminishing in size and depth. Water shortages and drought before and during the major signs of the end times are foretold in hadith. More specifically, regarding the Euphrates, the hadith in Bukhari and others states, ‘The Euphrates shall uncover a mountain of gold.’ Imam Suyuti states, ‘This could be ancient treasure troves or an actual mountain of gold.’” 

Whatever is happening to the Euphrates river is significant and quite frankly brings again into question if we are seeing these signs happening, why have we not been raptured yet? This event occurs in Revelation 16, way beyond Revelation 4. Just something to think about. God Bless.    Keith 

The first verse is found in Revelation 12:12 “Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”  

Christians all know this verse means the devil’s days are numbered. Believers should also know that the devils’ wrath will be short, but it shall be fierce. In Matthew 24, Jesus reminds us that when the abomination presents himself in the temple, we should run to the hills because things will get really bad. Now, this leads us to the other side of the convergence of time and why we can not let our guards down, we must stay vigilant.

Matthew 24:21-22 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”  

 The bible tells us that one side is coming to conquer us, and the other side is coming to save us. Which side do you choose? I believe the time for fu-fu Christianity is over. It is time to take up the armor of God found in Ephesians 6 and prepare ourselves for the challenges that lie ahead.

Ephesians 6:10-13 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Genesis 19:3-5 “But he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”  So we see that homosexuality was prominent. We know that in another part of this story, Lot offered his virgin daughters to the men of Sodom, and they refused. Let us take a deeper look into Sodom, shall we? To do that, we will look at the writings of Jasher. 

Jasher 18:11-15 “In those days all the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, and of the whole five cities, were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the Lord and they provoked the Lord with their abominations, and they strengthened in aging abominably and scornfully before the Lord, and their wickedness and crimes were in those days great before the Lord. And they had in their land a very extensive valley, about half a day’s walk, and in it there were fountains of water and a great deal of herbage surrounding the water. And all the people of Sodom and Gomorrah went there four times in the year, with their wives and children and all belonging to them, and they rejoiced there with timbrels and dances.  And in the time of rejoicing, they would all rise and lay hold of their neighbor’s wives, and some, the virgin daughters of their neighbors, and they enjoyed them, and each man saw his wife and daughter in the hands of his neighbor and did not say a word. And they did so from morning to night, and they returned home each man to his house and each woman to her tent; so they always did four times in the year.”  

So with this in mind, let’s look at the times we are in today. Thanks to the internet, pornography is now free. We now have same-sex marriage, open marriages, an agenda to teach children under six to experiment with gender identity, and men are now winning women of the year honors. What I find most disturbing, as we all should, is the trafficking of humans. I will link to a report that the U.N. published in 2020 on human trafficking. What’s very alarming in the report is that it states 50% of trafficked people are used for sexual exploitation and 19% of that 50% are little girls, 15% are little boys. According to a report done by WorldPopulationReview.com, in America alone, there are 199,000 incidents of trafficking each year. I have to ask, what possesses people to want to hurt or molest a child? It truly is a sickness of demonic origin. Sexual immorality is a significant sign of end-time prophecy, and thankfully, Jesus warned us ahead of time. 

Romans 1:24-28 “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting”

Nonetheless, people are searching, and in their search, we see what Paul warned Timothy about in 2Timothy 4:3 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers.”  The problem we face now is that everyone is right and everyone is wrong simultaneously. Therefore, I believe we would all do well to embrace Hebrews 13:8-9 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 9Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines.” You see, I am not so interested that you follow me; instead, utilize the information that I give you as a springboard to a deeper relationship with Jesus. Do your own homework! Listen, I completely understand that I do not always get it right, but iron sharpens iron, and we can grow together as we follow Jesus, Believe in Him, and follow His promise.
